Literacy Day ~ WCS Vocabulary Parade

This day is devoted to literacy and is kicked off with an all-school Vocabulary Parade. Each student, faculty, and staff member chooses a vocabulary word to personify. Words are chosen with the direct support of each child’s teacher, with plenty of advance notice for creating a costume. The Parade is held first thing in the morning, with trying to guess each person’s word. Parents and siblings are invited to dress up!
