Vocabulary Parade

Each of us – students, faculty, and staff – chooses a vocabulary word to dress up as for the parade.

Each child’s teacher will confirm the selected word with you so you can help at home to get a costume together for parade day.

Beginning at 8:15 am, we gather in the backyard to parade across the lanai stage, showing off costumes, and sharing our words.

Parents are encouraged to participate ~ by dressing as a word yourselves or in trying to guess words at the assembly. Hope you can make it!

This is also a celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday – March 2, 1904 – and a special day to highlight our love of literacy at WCS.
